GradeCalculators.io is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect (spoiler: very little) and how we use it.

Information We Don't Collect

Your calculator inputs stay in your browser by default. Calculations are performed on your device. We do not create student profiles, require accounts, or store the grades and scores you enter in a database.

Information We May Collect

We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data that helps us improve the site:

• Pages visited and features used
• Device type and browser information
• Geographic region (country level)
• Referral source

Calculator values, student names, course names, and result values are not attached to analytics events. Before a page view is sent, the site removes query strings and fragments from its analytics URL so optional shared calculator state is not included.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to work without third-party cookies.

Third-Party Services

Vercel processes the anonymous page-view data described above on our behalf. According to Vercel's Web Analytics documentation, events are aggregated and are not tied to an individual or IP address. Read the Vercel Web Analytics privacy documentation. We do not sell personal information. Site fonts are self-hosted with the application and do not require a runtime request to Google Fonts.

Children's Privacy

Our service is designed for students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, ask students to create accounts, or ask for names, schools, or course details.

Shared Calculator Links

If a calculator offers a share button, choosing it may place numeric calculator settings in the URL. Shared links do not include a student name, school, or course name by default. Anyone who receives a shared link can see the values in it, so do not add personal information to a URL.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
